Sammy Competing For Great Britain in Norway

Sammy will be competing in the Decathlon for Great Britain and Northern Ireland this week on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th at the European U23 Championships in Bergen, Norway.

With his recent score of 8,100 points in Götzis, Sammy enters the competition as the third highest scoring decathlete and has beeen working hard in preparation that have borne out with recent personal bests in discus (43.56m) and pole vault (4.70m)

Sammy has been asked to be team captain for these championships and is part of a 44 strong British team. All the best to Sammy and every British athlete competing.
